About the GrandStay Cycling Team
The GrandStay Cycling Team is dedicated to bicycle racing in Minnesota and the upper MidWest. Based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the team maintains membership in USA Cycling and the Minnesota Cycling Federation.
The GrandStay Cycling Team was established in 2005 with the goal of developing not only the cycling abilities of its members, but also the sport of competitive cycling in Minnesota. The program is built on a strong team-oriented model with the motto If the Team wins, we all win. More experienced riders share their knowledge with less experienced team members. In addition to racing, members are encouraged to be active in the club and assist in the club's operations and projects.
Organized group training rides and the opportunity to find training partners.
A detailed annual training plan which can be tailored to a member's individual abilities and goals.
Coaching in physical training, cycling skills, and racing tactics and strategy.
Financial support in the form of equipment discounts from sponsors and reimbursement for selected race fees and travel.
The team contributes to the sport by promoting races each year.
