June 24, 2008. With only Dan Swanson and Matt Williams toeing the line, GrandStay Hotels found themselves seriously outnumbered at the first of the Summit Crit series. But when dangerman Pat Lemieux from GrandPerformance attacked from the gun, Swanson was savvy enough to follow, bringing another competitor with him. The three stayed away the entirety of the race and Swanson used his formidable kick to take the sprint win out of the break. Swanson's win gives the team three wins in as many days. Nice work boys.
June 24, 2008. GrandStay Hotels racer Daniel Casper continued his see-saw battle with Tim Mulrooney, this time taking the win in his fastest time of the season.
June 21, 2008. GrandStay Hotels racer Doug Swanson was singing a familiar tune at the Richmond Rollers Road Race, fulfilling his teammates' hard work with a convincing sprint win. Swanson's teammates indeed went to bat for him, with this season's revelation, team President Matt Williams, acting as a one-man chase crew on the race's final lap. In spite of his tireless work on the front, Williams was still able to salvage a respectable 7th place finish.
